My friend Anton, Man About Town and Canadian at Large, was back in his old stomping grounds over the Canada Day weekend. (Thanks to the siren’s song of his fetching wife, Dawn, he now lives in Indianapolis.)

The trip included a jaunt up the Bruce Peninsula, to Tobermory and environs, and many photos (it appears) were taken.

I asked permission to re-print these two (they’re in a Facebook album, so behind the castle walls of the interweb, as it were), because the moment I saw them, they immediately became a perfect representation of my concept of “home”. (He said they felt the same for him, too.)
