The heartiest of 40th anniversary congratulations. πŸ™‚ Amusingly, the weather today was near identical to how it was the day they got married…

Dom Perignon

(I got carded buying that Dom. Heh. Awesome.)

There was a cheesecake, too, but it’s hard to artistically shoot a half-eaten cheesecake. πŸ™‚

The M&Ms

The happy couple! That’s an awesome picture of my Dad. Mom was talking to my aunt, hence the weird expression. And no, I didn’t do anything weird with the colour, Dad IS that colour. (Thanks to the cruise in April, but he’ll look like that til practically next Christmas.)

red pressed tin ceiling

The dining room ceiling at Noah’s Inn in Neustadt. COVET. Given how the place used to look when it was a ratty old bar, the transformation is impressive. And the food was lovely. They do as good a job with curry as with steak. Kudos. (The only negative was that we had to drag ourselves away from the third period of the Detroit/Anaheim game to go for dinner…)

  1. Congrats to your mom and dad on their 40th – that’s amazing in today’s society, as sad as that is…

I wanted to comment on your photography – I love how you work your camera. πŸ™‚ The angles that you take are beautiful – tons of visual interest. The camera is really good too – the clarity, sharpness and colour quality are amazing. I am in a few photoblog feeds and I would sign up on yours if you had one. I just wanted to say that LOL πŸ™‚
