Finally, in week three of wine class last evening, we got to the reds. Of the four we tried, I liked two. The Zinfandel, which was nice, is rather summery, though. I don’t want to drink a big glass of strawberry jam in the winter. My favourite, however, was the following Spanish one. (Listing courtesy of the LCBO web site.) Too bad the web site also tells me no one in KW has any in stock. Hmph!

  1. I’ve had pretty good luck asking Vintages staff for recommendations — if you tell them you liked that one, they may be able to find you something similar. I’ve had a few really yummy Riojas in the $20 range. Mmmm….
